MADRID (AP) Spain's court of arbitration for sport has upheld steeplechase runner Angel Mullera's two-year ban for failing to appear for a scheduled drug test.

Spain's anti-doping agency says the suspension, which began from the day of Mullera's missed test on July 16, 2015, will last until July 16, 2017.

Mullera won bronze in the 3,000-meter steeplechase at the 2014 European championships. He is also Spain's three-time national champion in the event and competed at the 2012 London Olympics.

Mullera hasn't competed since the suspension began, meaning he won't have any results voided.
