Tony Stewart is loaded into an ambulance after being involved in a four-car wreck at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa on August 5th.

You just can't keep Smoke away from dirt.

According to Kendra Jacobs, co-host of Motor Racing Network's "Winged Nation", Tony Stewart says he'll be back behind the wheel of his sprint car next season ... despite suffering this season-ending crash earlier this month at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa, Iowa.

Before that, he flipped at Ohsweken Speedway (Ontario, Canada).

And before that, he was at the center of this pileup at Canandaigua (NY) Motorsports Park.

However, some good may be coming from all of Stewart's misfortune. Jacobs said on "Winged Nation" that Stewart's sprint car team is looking at ways to make his car - as well as all of sprint car racing - safer.

Is this a smart move by Smoke?
