Slovenia wins ski flying team event in Planica

PLANICA, Slovenia (AP) Slovenia won a ski flying team event in front of its home crowd on Saturday at the last ski jump World Cup meet of the season.
The team of Jurij Tepes, Anze Semenic, Robert Kranjec and Peter Prevc earned a total of 848.4 points to beat Austria by 43.3 points.
Norway was third on 784 points.
Prevc also won the individual event on Friday and has a chance to win the overall World Cup in the final competition of the season on Sunday. Prevc trails Germany's Severin Freund by 44 points, with a win worth 100. Freund needs to finish at least third to clinch the overall title regardless of how Prevc does.
