INNSBRUCK, Austria (AP) Olympic ski jumping silver medalist Daniela Iraschko-Stolz of Austria will miss the remainder of the World Cup season following knee surgery.

Iraschko-Stolz damaged the meniscus in her left knee during a training jump in Seefeld, Austria on Monday, underwent surgery the next day, and will need six weeks for recovery, the Austrian ski federation said on Wednesday.

''My landing was good ... but suddenly there was a twitch and I knew immediately that something was wrong again,'' said Iraschko-Stolz, who tore ligaments in the same knee last year.

Iraschko-Stolz, who finished runner-up to Germany's Carina Vogt in the first Olympic women's ski jumping competition in Sochi two weeks ago, is third in the World Cup standings.
