Seriously, just don't try to tackle Eddie Lacy by yourself
Eddie Lacy is a load. Just a very big man.
The Green Bay Packers running back showed just how powerful he is on Monday night against the Atlanta Falcons. With QB Aaron Rodgers under pressure in the third quarter, Lacy caught a short pass and started rumbling upfield. That's when he came across Falcons defender Kemal Ishmael.
It didn't end well for Ishmael:
Ouch. Again, if you're going to tackle Eddie Lacy, make sure to bring a couple buddies along.
Lacy punished the Falcons in Green Bay's 43-37 win, rushing for 73 yards and a TD and catching five passes for 33 yards and another score. But the bruising runs took a toll. Lacy was pulled in the fourth quarter with a hip injury. He said he thought he would be OK, though he was sidelined as a precaution.
Asked when the injury occurred, Lacy joked, "Whenever I ran into the two big dudes."
