MADISON -- A three-goal flurry in the second period propelled visiting St. Cloud State past the Wisconsin men's hockey squad Friday, by a 5-1 margin.

St. Cloud State got a power-play goal from Ben Hanowski at the 4:40 mark of the first period and was never seriously threatened. Hanowski would go on to add another tally, and Huskies teammate Jared Festler ended the night with a game-high three points, as SCSU (11-14-4) rolled.

Between the pipes, visiting netminder Mike Lee recorded 31 saves to secure the victory.

Wisconsin, now 12-13-2 overall, got its lone goal from Brendan Woods.

Badgers goalie Joel Rumpel notched 19 saves, in front of an announced crowd of 11,213.
