The Blue Jackets hope to gain some revenge against the Vancouver Canucks Thursday night at Nationwide Arena as they did against Calgary on Tuesday. Both teams were part of the 0-1-2 western Canada trip last week that Columbus would love to forget.

Calgary is near the bottom of the Western Conference and Vancouver is near the top so it will be an even stiffer test for the Jackets to come away with two points.

What makes the Canucks a handful is that they have big-time fire power with Henrik and Daniel Sedin, both in the top 10 in the league in scoring. What the Blue Jackets found out last time is even though they shut down the twins until the overtime period, Ryan Kesler is no longer just a checking-line centerman that can be ignored on the offensive end of the ice.

Kesler ended up scoring all three Canucks goals in their 3-2 win against the Blue Jackets on Dec.
