Some of these players you may have never heard of but show a lot of promise. Some may live in the middle of nowhere, play for a small schools, some may be playing out of position, or some just may be inexperienced. Whatever the reason, they have no offers. 24-7 breaks down our All-Sleeper Team.
QB- Ben Maraz - Sunnyslope- 6-2, 210- Big and has an absolute cannon.
RB- Anthony Shivers - Marcos de Niza- 5-11, 175- Can't argue with his productivity this year. He has continued right where Abreu left off.
RB- P.J. Sparks- Mt. Ridge- 5-9, 190- Has the bloodlines and is having a great senior year.
WR- Paris Clark - Desert Ridge- 6-3, 200- Is giant and productive in DR's spread offense.
WR- Kyle Washington - Florence- 6-0, 200- Is a man amongst boys at the small school level.
TE- Neal Walters - Pinnacle- 6-3, 230- Probably is a DE at the next level but Walters is a smart kid (above 4.0 GPA) and plays hard.
OL- Wes Schweitzer - Chaparral- 6-4, 255- Has added a ton of weight to his frame, carries a 4.2 GPA and is athletic. He will get an offer.
OL- Travis Seefeldt - Liberty- 6-2, 280- Plays the game how it is supposed to be played. Whoever looks past his height will get a good player.
OL- Steven Gurrola - Washington- 6-2, 260- Maybe the best OL no one is talking about, he hasg ood bloodlines and a good frame.
OL- Brennan Bowen - Westview- 6-0, 280- Very productive and smart two-way player. Same height issue as Seefeldt.
OL- Josh Bruns - Mohave- 6-5, 285- Not many have traveled to see this big man but he has a frame that can't be taught.
DL- Robert Sullivan - Notre Dame- 6-5, 215- Hasn't played a whole lot of football but has a tremendous frame, motor qne plays in the backfield.
DL- Justin Jackson - Chaparral- 6-3, 255- We have talked about him before, he has changed his body and is playing well.
DL- Sean Kamela - Chaparral- 6-2, 240- Doesn't have ideal size but plays hard and has been very productive.
DL- Terrell Patton - Chandler - 6-5, 210- Is thin but has a frame and can really run.
LB- Tyler Rutt - Hamilton- 5-11, 190- Just flatout makes plays.
LB- Tony Vaitafa - Mesa- 6-2, 200- Grades have kept him from earning a D1 ride because there is no doubt he is a baller.
LB- Hunter Gregg - Chaparral- 6-0, 210- Plays in the middle but his size will probably move him outside in college. Makes a lot of plays.
DB- Brian Poupore - Notre Dame- 6-1, 190- His exactly the type of player you want on your team. Tough, smart and has good size.
DB- Miguel Juarez - McClintock- 6-3, 185- Is athletic and looks the part but plays on a struggling McClintock squad.
DB- Julien Singleton - Centennial- 5-11, 165- Tough corner that can play the run.
DB- Tevin Ray - Centennial- 5-11, 175- Plays mostly LB but his size will move him to safety at the next level.
K- Jordon Stangler - Willow Canyon- 6-2, 170- Had 50+ range but tore ACL.
P- Devon Foy - Mesquite- 5-9, 180- One of the state's leading punters has taken some soccer recruiting visits.
All-purpose- Hi-C Scott - Central- 5-9, 180- Can play on either side of the ball.
