The New Orleans Saints players have chosen their team leaders for the upcoming season, and there is little surprise in the selections.
Offensively quarterback Drew Brees and tackle Zach Strief will take the helm once again as co-captains.
On the defensive side of things, linebackers Curtis Lofton and Junior Galette will handle the leadership responsibilities. Galette replaces departed safety Malcolm Jenkins, who's now with the Eagles. Second-year pro safety Kenny Vaccaro no doubt approves of the choice, tweeting this:
