Saint Louis falls to Austin Peay 64-62

ST. LOUIS (AP) -- Tyshwan Edmondson made a pair of free throws with four seconds left to lift Austin Peay to a 64-62 win over Saint Louis on Friday night in the season opener for both teams.

Edmondson finished with 17 points for the Governors, shooting 6 for 9 from the field, while Josh Terry scored a game-high 18 points on 7 of 9 shooting.

The Billikens were ahead by eight points midway through the second half after a 22-10 run to start the period. But the Governors battled back and it was tied 62-62 with less than a minute to go.

The teams exchanged turnovers in the final minute before the Billikens' Christian Salecich sent Edmondson to the line with four seconds to go.

Kyle Cassity led Saint Louis with 16 points on 7 of 10 shooting.
