S.O.S.: No one can find Raul Ibanez's foul ball at Progressive Field

How many Indians fans does it take to find a foul ball in the highest regions of Progressive Field? Many tried but none succeeded in locating Raul Ibanez's disappearing foul ball Tuesday night.

Ibanez skied a 1-1 pitch from Indians starter Josh Tomlin up into the upper deck of the park, the ball appearing to bounce somewhere near the last row.

The search and rescue mission for this lost ball started out as a small effort.

But then more flocked to fetch what would have been a fulfilling souvenir.

Is a needle this hard to find?

The horde perused, scurrying through the stands with no luck.

So the mystery of the lost foul ball persists - where are the Boxcar Children when you need them?
