Russia eliminated Team USA from the World Junior Championships in the quarterfinals Thursday morning, and they didn't do it quietly.

The reigning gold-medal winners were sent packing after a 5-3 loss but, to make the loss even harder to swallow, the Russians weren'€™t necessarily humble winners. After Pavel Buchnevich's empty-net goal sealed the win, he skated by the American bench and celebrated like he just won a gold medal, a Stanley Cup and the lottery all in one.

Buchnevich certainly wasn'€™t alone in the excessive celebration department, as friend of NESN Peter Blackburn was able to snipe a GIF of a Russian coach making an obscene gesture at the American bench (warning: gesture is very obscene), which can be seen here.

Check out the GIF of the celebration below:

Buchnevich, a New York Rangers prospect, scored two goals for Russia. Defenseman Nikita Zadorov, the Sabres'€™ 16th overall pick in 2013, scored two second-period power-play goals. Edmonton Oilers prospect and Russian captain Anton Slepyshev had three assists and was named the player of the game for his team.
