Ridden by Rafael Bejarano, Rousing Sermon ran 71/2 furlongs on Cushion Track in 1:29.73 and paid $6.60, $3.20 and $2.40.
Cyclometer returned $3 and $2.60, while Mobilized was another 11/2 lengths back in third.
The 4-year-old Rousing Sermon has earned $687,842.

The win widened Bejarano's lead in the jockey standings. He has 20 victories in the season that concludes Dec. 22; Joe Talamo has 13 and Martin Garcia has 12.
