MANHATTAN BEACH, Calif. (AP) April Ross and Jennifer Fopma advanced to the semifinals in the
AVP Manhattan Beach Open.
Coming off a victory last week in Seattle, the top-seeded Ross and Fopma beat fourth-seeded Kim DiCello and Kendra Van Zwieten 21-9, 21-14 on Saturday to reach the semifinals.
Third-seeded Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena reached the men's semifinals, topping second-seeded Ryan Doherty and John Mayer 21-18, 21-9.
