Romo not thinking about playoffs after loss
ARLINGTON, Texas – No surprises here, Thursday's postgame press conference brought more of the same from Tony Romo.
The Cowboys quarterback stayed with the basic responses, stating the obvious that the Cowboys need to get better.
"I don't know how to explain it other than we just need to play better," Romo said after the Cowboys' 38-31 loss to the Washington Redskins.
Romo was asked to do a lot Thursday, throwing 62 passes, completing 37 for 441 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions.
Since that was his answer to a question about having hope, talking about playoffs didn't bring much more detail.
"I'm not thinking about anything other than this next game coming up," Romo said. "There is a long five or six days tape-wise and physically and mentally. It's exhausting to get yourself ready to go so quick against a defense that does that many things.
"It's disappointing when you don't come out with a win. At the same time, we have to put that behind us and get right on to Philadelphia."
