Romo: Deflategate doesn't relate to me

On Monday, the NFL suspended New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady without pay for his involvement in the deflation of footballs used in the 2014 AFC Championship. Additionally, the league stripped New England of two draft picks and levied a $1 million fine.

Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo says the incident does not apply to him.

"It doesn't relate to me in any way, I guess you could say," Romo told 105.3 The Fan {KRLD-FM] Wednesday.

"Yeah. I honestly don't have any thoughts on it just because what happened. I don't have any information or thoughts. I haven't read up on it. I mean, I see what happened and I understood part of it. But without being there and knowing anything with it, to comment it just doesn't do anything for anybody.

"I don't know any of the details. I didn't see how it went down, so it just seems like it would be not something to talk about honestly."

Brady has already appealed the NFL's ruling, and some experts believe he could have his suspension lessened. Incidentally, the fourth game that Brady would miss would come against Romo's Cowboys in AT&T Stadium in Arlington on Oct. 11, and would be the third-ever showdown between the two former Drew Bledsoe backups.
