Ricky Vs. Danica: Pocono Edition
Poor Ricky Stenhouse.
Danica’s BF didn’t even make it through the first turn of the first lap at Pocono Raceway before he got hit by Juan Pablo Montoya and stuffed into the wall, which doubtless took the Zestfully clean smile off Stenhouse’s face. It was a cruel blow in what frankly hasn’t been a great season so far.
“The 42 (Montoya) got us three or four wide and I moved up to give him a whole lane and typical I think he just ran in there and drove right into us,” said Stenhouse. “It’s not the way we want to start the day for all our Zest people that are here. I thought our Fusion was good in practice on Friday but we won’t really get a chance to see how good it was.”
