By Ross Jones, FOXSports.com Larry Fitzgerald gets paid to catch footballs and run for long gains. He may have earned his paycheck Thursday night for leveling Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman in the fourth quarter. Cardinals wide receiver Michael Floyd caught a Carson Palmer pass and was looking for green until he saw Sherman standing in his way. Fortunately for Floyd, Sherman got decleated by the 10-year receiver. Sherman popped up and gave Fitzgerald a slap on the helmet, welcoming the competition. Floyd, who finished the night with five receptions for 58 yards, has proven to be a reliable target for Palmer in the Cardinals passing game. As for Sherman, he’ll be just fine. He currently ranks second in the NFL in interceptions and is due for a big contract extension within the next 12 months. Questions? Comments?
