Richard Sherman sends swag pack to '12' who gave jersey to despondent Packers fan
A benevolent Seattle Seahawks fan who gave the Richard Sherman jersey off his back to a despondent 13-year-old Green Bay Packers fan will be receiving a replacement jersey and more from the Seahawks' Pro Bowl cornerback himself.
The story began at the end of the NFC championship game when Packers fans Tim McElravy and his 13-year-old son, Austin, witnessed the Packers' devastating meltdown (or the Seahawks' roaring comeback, depending on your colors).
The McElravys and a "12" named PJ Ledorze had some friendly conversation during the game while another Seahawks fans reportedly harassed them. Tim McElravy posted the following on the Facebook page of KING5, an NBC affliate based in Seattle:
That's some pretty great sportsmanship.
"It was an emotional decision at the time — it was my last year's Super Bowl jersey and Sherman is my favorite player," Ledorze told KING5. "You attach memories to that. As awesome as those memories are, that kid is never going to forget that moment and that means more to me than that jersey."
Later, KING5 helped McElravy connect with Ledorze so he could "thank him and buy this man a beer," as McElravy said on social media, "or maybe get him noticed by the Hawks so he can get another Richard Sherman Jersey."
McElravy's idea worked. Sherman caught wind of the story, and now PJ's good karma is coming back to him. Check out the swag pack Sherman is sending to Ledorze:
Looks like a signed "Madden" video game in there, a "You Mad Bro?" shirt and more.
12s, thanks for helping track down PJ. Great story of a true 12. Signed jersey coming his way http://t.co/AWBrARigCE pic.twitter.com/zZIl1InhhG

"The 12's were really good to us Cheeseheads," McElravy wrote. "God Bless ya Seahawks ... go Get another Lombardi!"
