Report: Kevin Durant's injury 'just a stinger'
Kevin Durant missed the first 17 games of the season recovering from foot surgery.
Durant missed another six games with an ankle injury.
Tuesday in Miami, Durant appeared to injure his right elbow after a dunk with 9:33 to play. However Durant said to ESPN.com, he's fine and should be in the lineup tonight when the Thunder play at Washington.
"I've fallen plenty of times," Durant said to ESPN.com. "It's just a stinger. "I just fell on my arm. I'll be fine."
Coach Scott Brooks took Durant out of the game in the fourth quarter when the Thunder had the game in control.
"I wasn't nervous," Brooks said to ESPN.com when he saw Durant on the floor after his injury. "He's always bouncing up. He went down the court, kept his composure and kept playing."
The Thunder won 94-86. Durant had 19 points and eight rebounds. The Thunder have won three in a row and are three games behind Phoenix for the eighth and final playoff spot with 41 games to play.
