Former Cavaliers assistant and current Ohio State assistant Chris Jent is reportedly leaving the Buckeye State to return to the NBA. The Sacramento Bee broke the news last night that Jent will join the Kings staff of Michael Malone, who shared the bench with him in Cleveland.

Jent spent the past two years as an assistant at Ohio State, where he was a player in the early '90s before a 10-year professional career that included stints in the NBA with the Houston Rockets and New York Knicks, after five years on the staff of the Cavs.
He joined the Cavs in 2006 as director of player development and later became an assistant coach in 2009.
