A former University of Tennessee basketball strength and conditioning coach reportedly was arrested and charged with burglary, theft and vandalism after he allegedly used a saw to break into a locked office at Thompson-Boling Arena.

According to an affidavit acquired by the Knoxville News Sentinel, Troy Wills broke into the office of UT event management director Bill Whitesell and caused $750 in damages to school property. He also stole $4,150 from Whitesell's desk.

Police say Wills was seen on video walking down a hallway in the arena "with what appears to be a saw in his hand," which he was "attempting to hide underneath his coat."

The incident occurred after a professional bull-riding event at the arena on Saturday night.

Wills spent eight seasons working with the men's basketball team before he was let go by coach Cuonzo Martin after the 2011-12 season.

He also faces an additional theft charge after he allegedly took a $100 bottle of tanning cream from Fusion Tanning Studios in Knoxville on Dec. 5. According to the affidavit, Wills agreed to return the tanning cream and pay for the product, but he never did so.
