HOUSTON (AP) -- Nine-time Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed was inactive for the second straight game for the Texans against the Titans.

Reed, who the Texans signed in the offseason, is recovering from April hip surgery. He was taken off the physically unable to perform list on Aug. 31 and has been practicing with the team. He said this week that he was better but still sore. Shiloh Keo will start for Reed.

Other inactives for Houston were quarterback Case Keenum, running back Cierre Wood, linebacker Sam Montgomery, tackle Andrew Gardner, guard Cody White and defensive end Tim Jamison.
