Robert Stephenson, the Reds' No. 1 draft pick in 2011, is getting a step closer to the big leagues, per his Twitter timeline:

The Bakersfield Blaze, for their part, sound happy to have the right-handed hurler back in his home state of California. Stephenson started the year in Dayton (low-A) after starting 2012 in Billings (rookie) and being promoted to Dayton before the end of the year.
