SAN DIEGO -- While the Reds pulled off two trades on the final day of the Winter Meetings, they did not select or lose anyone during the major-league phase of Thursday's Rule 5 Draft.

During the Triple-A portion, they selected catcher Cam Maron and pitcher Euclides Leyer.

Both were in Class-A last season. Maron was in the Mets organization and batted .282 at St. Lucie. Leyer, a right-hander who was in the White Sox organization, is a reliever and was 1-3 with a 4.53 ERA in 34 appearances.

The Reds ended up losing right-hander Tim Crabbe to the Diamondbacks and first baseman Harold Riggins to the Marlins in the Triple-A phase. Crabbe was with Triple-A Louisville last season and Riggins in Class-A Bakersfield.
