Rays players, coaches cut hair for pediatric cancer research

Tampa Bay Rays players, coaches and executives cut their hair Friday morning to raise money and awareness for pediatric cancer research. The event was part of the sixth annual "Cut for a Cure Charity Challenge," a fundraising campaign in which more than 200 men, women and kids cut their hair to raise funds for select nonprofit organizations.
Rays fans could shave their heads by making a $100 donation. It also was possible to donate $10 by texting "PCF" to 20222 or by visiting the foundation's website at www.pcfcutforacure.org.
