Ranking the five best UFC ALS Ice Bucket Challenge videos
If you haven't heard of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge by now, there's a good chance you've been living under a rock for the past few weeks because this phenomenon has swept through every corner of the world. Just about everybody has taken the time and effort to fill up a giant tub with water and ice before dumping it on their heads.
The point of the entire idea is to get people to donate to the ALS association to help fund research for the treatment and cure of ALS also known as Lou Gehrig's disease. While the videos seem to come in faster than anyone can possibly get them posted, the fundraising effort is paying off in a big way. As of Friday, the ALS association reports that donations have reached over $53.3 million dollars so the entire idea seems to be paying off.
While the best Ice Bucket Challenge videos might be the ones that ended up in an epic fail, there's no denying that the craze has reached A-list celebrities, sports stars and even the best of the best in the UFC.

Some videos for this ALS Ice Bucket Challenge have been as simple as an iPhone video with a person dumping some cold water over their head, but UFC featherweight contender Ricardo Lamas decided to up the ante while also proving he may have just a little bit too much free time on his hands.

No. 4 - Ronda Rousey Gets Cold
Even wearing a nice dress and heels doesn't stop UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey from accepting the Ice Bucket Challenge and unlike a few cheaters, she apparently got a cooler full of actual cold water for her challenge.
No. 3 - Lorenzo Fertitta Treated TUF
UFC co-owner Lorenzo Fertitta didn't just use one or two ice buckets and he didn't even dump the water on himself — instead he had the cast of the new Ultimate Fighter douse him with water as he accepted the challenge of UFC president Dana White
No. 2 - Big Brown Goes Pro
'The Fighter and the Kid' decided to head to Muscle Beach in California for their version of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge while UFC heavyweight Brendan Schuab pumped some iron and gave viewers a bird's eye view of what it's like to take the cold drink of water over his head while it was happening.
No. 1 - Frankie Edgar's Kids Win at Life
Yes, the point of the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge is to get covered in freezing cold water, but there's nothing better than the videos that don't go as well as planned. Former UFC lightweight champion Frankie Edgar found that out the hard way when he let his sons do the water dumping on him for his video. We certainly hope Frankie's head is okay, but the video is pretty hilarious.
