The Texas Rangers are making the radio switch to CBS Radio's 105.3 The Fan for the 2015 season.

The club had spent the last three seasons in the Metroplex on the local ESPN affiliate.

"We are very pleased to enter into this long term radio agreement with 105.3 The Fan," Rangers spokesman John Blake said. "The Rangers enjoyed a great relationship with KRLD and CBS RADIO from 1995-2010, and we look forward to a very productive partnership in the future."

The agreement includes coverage of regular season and postseason broadcasts as well as select spring training games. The station will also air pre and postgame shows and daily programming on the club.

The Rangers were on KRLD NewsRadio 1080 AM from 1995 to 2008 and then switched over to The Fan for the 2009 and 2010 seasons with the KRLD handing the weekend broadcasts. Under the new agreement, any games with conflicts will be carried on the AM station.

The switch in radio stations will not impact the radio production or network elements of the broadcasts, which are controlled by the club. Hall of Fame announcer Eric Nadel will be back for his 37th season and Matt Hicks will return for his third full season.

• Seattle's Kyle Seager was named the American League Gold Glove third baseman, beating out Texas' Adrian Beltre and Oakland's Josh Donaldson.

• The Rangers are hosting an Evening with the Rangers Dec. 17 at Globe Life Park. New manager Jeff Banister and shortstop Elvis Andrus are the guests. For ticket information, go to texasrangers.com/foundation or call 817-622-7883.
