Before Friday's game against the Twins, the Indians announced that outfielder Ryan Raburn had arthroscopic surgery on his left knee early Friday morning at the Cleveland Clinic.
The procedure, which was performed by Dr. Rick Parker, repaired a lateral meniscus tear that occurred during last Saturday's game at Detroit. Full recovery for an arthroscopic partial meniscectomy for a lateral meniscus tear is 6-8 weeks.
Raburn battled injuries for most of the season and batted .200. He was one of the Indians surprise players last year when he batted .272 and had 16 home runs.
