Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has never been shy about letting his feelings be known about a wide range of topics. On Thursday, he chatted with Norm Hitzges on 1310 The Ticket about several aspects of this current Mavericks team.

The two discussed the impact that newly acquired shooting guard Corey Brewer will have on the team and if this is the best Mavericks team that he has ever owned.

Here are a few highlights of their 20-minute conversation.

On the affect Tyson Chandler has had on the team:

"Well just look at the difference from this year and any other year prior. I mean, he's mobile, he's athletic, he's a talker defensively. He's kind of like the center is for the offensive line in the NFL. He's the guy who calls the signals and communicates and makes sure everybody's on the same page defensively, and that has a huge impact. You see it in how we play and you see it when he's on the court."

On if this is the best Mavericks team that he has ever owned:

"You know, it's all relative. Yes, but the Western Conference has gotten a lot better, even though some teams in the West have gotten weaker, recently. The whole NBA has just become so much better. I think it's our best team, but we're going to have to prove it in the playoffs to show that it's a great team.
