Projecting Gophers' bowl destination: January game seems likely

MINNEAPOLIS -- The Gophers football team was hoping for a berth in the Big Ten championship game with a shot at playing in one of the top bowls in college football. Instead, after losing to rival Wisconsin last Saturday, Minnesota now has to wait until Sunday to see which postseason bowl it will be playing in. The bowl selection process is not always easy to predict, and this weekend's championship games could alter the destinations of several teams. With that said, here's a look at a few possible landing spots for the Gophers, along with their potential opponents.
