Pro lacrosse player ties game with miraculous 85-yard buzzer-beater
Trailing the Rochester Rattlers by two with 3.3 seconds remaining, Boston Cannons defender Brodie Merrill had to launch a prayer across the field and hope for an impossible goal to push the game to overtime. It went in.
Cannons fans couldn't believe it.
Merrill said that he couldn't see the ball after he sent it flying, but he knew it went in when he saw his teammates going wild. Boston went on to win the game in overtime.
