The final two games of the first round of the inaugural Guinness International Champions Cup wrapped up Thursday evening.
In the first of the two games, Chelsea defeated Inter by a score of 2-0 in a game that was played in front of more than 40,000 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
Chelsea dominated the pace of the game. Oscar opened the scoring for Chelsea in the 13th minute to take a 1-0 lead followed by another goal in the 29th minute by Eden Hazard on a penalty kick that sealed the victory.
Inter did have to play most of the second half shorthanded when Hugo Campagnaro was sent off with a red card at the 58 minute for a rough tackle on John Terry.
Both teams will now travel to MetLife Stadium in New York, where Chelsea will face Milan and  Inter will now take on Valencia. Both of those games will be played on August 4.
In the second of two matches on the day, Real Madrid defeated the LA Galaxy by a score of 3-1 in a matchup that was played at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Arizona.
Real Madrid started the scoring early, when Cristiano Ronaldo found Angel Di Maria to take a 1-0 lead in the 15th minute.
Karim Benzema, who replaced Ronaldo in the second half, added two more goals during the 51st minute and 75th minute for Real Madrid.  Jose Villareal scored the only goal for the LA Galaxy in the second half during the 63rd minute.
Both teams will now travel to Los Angeles' Dodgers Stadium, where Real Madrid will play Everton and the LA Galaxy will take on Juventus.
