Pointer, Harris lead Cavs to first summer league win

The Cleveland Cavaliers got their first NBA summer league win on Monday, beating the Milwaukee Bucks 94-87 in overtime. The Cavs overcame a 21-point deficit to force overtime with Sir Dominic Pointer's layup with under four seconds left.

Joe Harris scored the first points of overtime, knocking down a three to give the Cavs a 90-87 lead, from which they never looked back.

In overtime, the Cavaliers outscored the Bucks 7-0, to bring home their first summer league win in Las Vegas. Five Cavalier players scored in double-figures including Harris and Pointer who each scored 13. D.J. Seeley led the Cavs wirth 14 points. 

The Cavs are 1-3 in NBA Summer League play. 

Seeley leads the Cavaliers in scoring, averaging 11.8 PPG, while Jerelle Benimon leads the Cavs in rebounding with 9.0 RPG.

Rakeem Christmas, one of the Cavaliers' second round picks, is averaging 7.3 PPG and 5.3 RPG in 20.3 minutes per game. Pointer, the other Cavs' 2015 draft pick playing in the summer league, is averaging 5.5 PPG and 2.3 RPG in 17.3 minutes per game.

Last year's second-round pick, Harris, is averaging 9.0 PPG and 3.0 RPG in 29.0 minutes per game.
