ATLANTA -- As is now tradition every July, the media horde
swarmed Hoover, Ala., this past week to cover the ins and outs of the
biggest names in the sport's most dominant conference. The storylines
were endless once again.
From covering off-the-field exploits of
Johnny Manziel to Nick Saban's usual Alabama adulation to the
back-and-forth between two of the conference's new head coaches, SEC
Media Days dominated national headlines. Can the SEC crown another
