Podcast: Falcons float move to suburbs

For those young enough, it's tough to think of the Falcons playing anywhere but the Georgia Dome in downtown Atlanta—the trip down I-75, I-85 or I-20 just comes as part of the territory of being a fan.

Now, with the ideas floating out of the discussions concerning the team's new stadium deal, those trips may have a different destination in the future.

Arthur Blank and his team have mentioned the possibility of building the new stadium, which the Falcons want built by 2017, to the metro Atlanta suburbs, where the cost of building would come at a lower cost.

This has many upset, although NFL teams across the country have made similar moves over the past few decades, moving their stadiums outside of the city limits to the welcoming grounds of the suburbs.

Could the Falcons join this crowd? It's a possibility.

But should people really care?

Zach Dillard and Jay Clemons took to the FOX Sports South studios to discuss potentially altered travel plans, economic stimuli and why "bird" is, once again, the word.
