When the always entertaining Rob Gronkowski left Sunday night's game against Denver in the fourth quarter after taking a nasty hit to his right knee, things looked very bad.

Naturally, Patriots Nation was rocked to its core. Fearing the worst, Gronk fans quickly took to Twitter to #PrayForGronk.
There were those who were despondent.
I have a legit tear in my eye ... #PrayForGronk

There were those who wished Aaron Hernandez, in jail for murder, was still around.

Then there were the Deflategate-Roger Goodell conspiracy folks.
The Broncos have literally been aiming at his knees all night. Goodell probably popping champagne. #PrayForGronk

Congratulations refs you won the game! Goodell will be leaving your bonus in your locker. #Patriots #prayforgronk #refs

Gronks injury stings more than the lost despite the refs doing everything in their power to screw us over. #prayforgronk

Congrats to the NFL who were successful in using their refs to get their first win against the Patriots this year. #prayforgronk

And then we had the backlash to #PrayForGronk.
#prayforgronk? Are you kidding me? We're on the verge of WWIII and you want me to worry about your little party boy tweaking his knee? No.

The good news in all this is that the latest reports on Monday morning say that Gronkowski's injury does not appear to be serious.
The belief is #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski suffered no structural damage in his knee. Tests coming today, but his time out should be minimal
— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) November 30, 2015
Sounds like #Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski (knee) is unlikely to miss more than one game, I'm told. In fact, he may not even miss that.
