Pants On Fire wins Pegasus Stakes

Pants On Fire held off Concealed Identity by two lengths Saturday in the $200,000 Pegasus Stakes at Monmouth Park.
Trained by Kelly Breen and ridden by Anna Napravnik, the 3-year-old colt ran 1-1/16 miles over a fast track in 1 minute, 42-4/5 seconds and returned $3.20 for a win bet.
The win in the Grade III race was the third in 10 career starts for Pants On Fire, who has now earned $798,100. Pants On Fire finished ninth in the Kentucky Derby in early May.
In the Pegasus, Concealed Identity was four lengths ahead of third-place finisher Turbo Compressor.
