Panthers' Petrovic flies over the boards, Stars scoreboard trolls him
Florida Panthers defenseman Alex Petrovic went in for the big hit against Dallas Stars center Vernon Fiddler during their matchup Friday night. Unfortunately for Petrovic, he completely missed and flopped head-first over the boards.
What's worse than whiffing on a hit during a nationally-televised NHL game?
Well, two things, actually.
First, the hit going on to live forever and ever as a .gif and video.
Secondly, being made the butt of the joke by the home team's jumbotron.

Sorry about that Petrovic, but hey, at least you're not a Justin Bieber fan (that we know of).
