MANCHESTER, England (AP) Seamers Wahab Riaz and debutante Hasan Ali shared five wickets as Pakistan restricted England to 135-7 in their one-off Twenty20 international on Wednesday.

Openers Alex Hales (37) and Jason Roy (21) provided England a confident start of 56 off 40 deliveries before left-arm spinner Imad Wasim dismissed both of them in his successive overs.

Riaz and Ali then bowled at deceptive pace and didn't allow England's big hitters like Jos Buttler (16), Ben Stokes (4) and captain Eoin Morgan (14) to provide any acceleration.

Riaz took 3-18 and Ali finished with 2-24 as England's batsmen managed only one boundary in the last 10 overs.

England, which won the toss and opted to bat, fielded the same XI which was beaten by the West Indies in the World Twenty20 final in India earlier this year.

Sarfraz Ahmed led his bowlers well in his first T20 international since being appointed as skipper after Pakistan's unimpressive World Twenty20.
