The Green Bay Packers have re-signed running back Christine Michael on Wednesday.
The fourth-year player from Texas A&M confirmed the news with two posts on his Instagram account:
Green Bay signed Michael last season after starting running back Eddie Lacy was sidelined with an ankle injury. Michael played in six regular-season games for the Packers, rushing for 114 yards and a touchdown. He also recorded 16 carries for 58 yards in three postseason games.
He’ll rejoin Ty Montgomery in the Packers’ backfield. Michael's 5-foot-10, 220-pound frame could serve as a consistent, powerful option in the red zone.
