GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) -- The Green Bay Packers have signed wide receiver Charles Dillon, a first-year player who spent time in Indianapolis' training camp in 2008.

Dillon, a wide receiver and kick returner at Washington State, spent last season with the Spokane Shock of the af2 arena league.

The Green Bay Packers also re-signed veteran left tackle Chad Clifton, wrapping up one of their major offseason concerns early in the NFL's free agent signing period. Clifton will return to the left tackle spot he has occupied for most of his 10 seasons in Green Bay.

The Packers do not have an obvious candidate to replace Clifton, and reported interest in the unrestricted free agent from the Washington Redskins made for some nervous moments among Packers fans.

Terms were not disclosed, but ESPN.com reported that Clifton's deal was for three years and $20 million, with $7.5 million in guaranteed money.
