Pacers recall Christmas from Mad Ants

Updated Mar. 4, 2020 9:57 p.m. ET

The Indiana Pacers have recalled Rakeem Christmas from the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, the team's NBA Developmental League affiliate.

The Pacers announced the move on Monday.

Christmas has appeared in just two games for the Pacers this season, averaging 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds. In three games with the Mad Ants, Christmas has averaged 14.0 points a game.

The Pacers are currently dealing with a rash of injuries as Paul George, C.J. Miles and Kevin Seraphin have all been sidelined recently.

The Pacers have ruled out George and Seraphin for Wednesday's contest against the Portland Trail Blazers. It's unclear when Miles, dealing with a sore knee, could return to the Pacers' lineup.
