Pac-12 Schedule: Look out for Utah

A little less than a week ago, we got our first glimpse of how the inaugural Pac-12 season will be laid out.

Commissioner Larry Scott, beaming like an auto executive introducing a vehicle that drives itself while you quietly nap on your daily commute, calmly pointed out that Utah will kick the Pac-12 off by hosting Montana State on Sept. 1, 2011 in Salt Lake City. Two days later, the rest of the conference will follow suit by hosting the likes of San Jose State, UC Davis and Northern Arizona. Thankfully, Oregon helped the conference save face by hosting the Bayou Bengals, as LSU and their wacky riverboat-gambler-style head coach Les Miles roll into Autzen Stadium.

UCLA will likely be challenged when they travel to Houston, but you would hope they have the advantage in year four (he hopes) of the Rick Neuheisel era. Meanwhile, USC welcomes the newest victim, (ahem) head coach, of the Minnesota Golden Gophers to the Coliseum.
