TUCSON, Ariz. -- The Bruins were no match for Arizona on Saturday, as they were defeated
by the Wildcats, 27-13. UCLA was held to a meager 211 total yards of
production and that includes a mere 65 rushing yards on only 2.8 yards per
attempt. Both Kevin Craft and Kevin Prince saw time under center in the
contest, but neither was effective, as Craft completed just 6-of-17 passes for
75 yards, while Prince threw for 60 yards on 7-of-15 efficiency. The lone
touchdown in the contest for UCLA was a 28-yard fumble return by Tony Dye.
However, as a whole the defense struggle, as the Bruins surrendered 456 total
yards, including 209 rushing yards on 4.5 yards per attempt. The Bruins will
try to snap their four-game slide on Halloween when they travel to Corvallis
to battle Oregon State.
