The jerseys feature chrome helmets the Buckeyes wore last year in "The Game", and this year versus Wisconsin and Penn State. The rest of the uniform will be primarily white, with a very similar design to the home alternates they have worn recently.
Nike had originally created two alternate uniforms for Ohio State last year, and it is believed that these are the away version of the home jerseys we have seen them wear numerous times.
Alternate uniforms are always a great and exciting thing for Ohio State. Not only do they get the current players excited to wear new uniforms, but they help in recruiting because recruits love the chance to wear flashy new uniforms at least once a year.
The Buckeyes have some of the best traditional jerseys in college football, and it is nice to see Nike pay homage to some of the great former teams by tailoring their designs off of jerseys from the past.
And like the old saying goes, "if you look good, you play good."
