Ohio State-Michigan kick off time announced
The annual Ohio State-Michigan football game will kick off at noon on Nov. 29 in Ohio Stadium.
The schools made the announcement Tuesday. The game -- or The Game as it's known in much of the Midwest -- is traditionally played in the early afternoon, and often at noon.
Ohio State has played its last two games at 8 p.m. In the past, both Ohio State coach Urban Meyer and athletic director Gene Smith have said they prefer the Michigan game not be played at night.
The TV network has not been finalized.
Ohio State is 8-1 and atop the East Division; with two more wins, the Buckeyes will clinch the East Division title and a return trip to Indianapolis for the Big Ten Championship Game.
Ohio State has won nine of the last 10 in the series though the 2010 game was later vacated by NCAA sanctions.
