Number crunch: Cardinals are hot, hot, hot; Twins are ... not

BY foxsports • June 17, 2015

While the St. Louis Cardinals are riding their fourth five-game win streak of the season, the Minnesota Twins have won just four total games this month, which is second worst in the big leagues.

The Cardinals' four five-game+ win streaks are the tied for the most in any season in franchise history before July 1. It also happend in 1962, 67, and 2002.

Speaking of hot, the Cards' infielders (including catcher) had five of the team's six hits yesterday, continuing a trend that they've been riding all season.
