North Queensland Cowboys crush Leeds Rhinos 38-4

LEEDS, England (AP) North Queensland Cowboys swept to an emphatic 38-4 victory over Leeds Rhinos in the Rugby League World Club Challenge at Headingley on Sunday.

The sides went in level 4-4 at halftime but the Cowboys produced a stunning display in the second half.

Tries were scored by Michael Morgan, Kane Linnett, Kyle Feldt, Lachlan Coote, Johnathan Thurston and Justin O'Neill (two) for the Cowboys.

Rob Burrow got the try for Rhinos in an encouraging first half performance.

Rhinos later had Mitch Garbutt sent off for punching James Tamou.

The win completes a 3-0 triumph in the World Challenge for Australia, after Brisbane beat Wigan 42-12 and Sydney Roosters beat St Helens 38-12 on Friday.
