NNS Wrap-Up: Kyle Busch Owns Charlotte, Donates Entire Winnings
Heading into Friday night's NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kyle Busch was the hands down favorite for the win.
Rowdy did not disappoint.
Although he did not have the best car throughout the night, although he had to charge late to get around title contenders Austin Dillon and Sam Hornish Jr., yet in the end it was once again Busch grabbing the checkered flag and taking the bow.
For a record eighth time, Busch scored the Nationwide Series victory at Charlotte Motor Speedway. With a .380 winning percentage in the Nationwide Series, as well as five NASCAR Camping World Truck Series wins, Rowdy is now the winningest driver at Charlotte.
Let's take a trip down memory lane and revisit each of Kyle's eight victories.

Perhaps Friday night's victory was the most special of all. Running a pink car in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Busch and wife Samantha had a total of 12 cancer survivors with them throughout the day. After capping off the day with a trip to victory lane, Busch announced he would donate all the team's winnings to the Pretty In Pink Foundation to help breast cancer survivors with their medical bills.
Despite not having any family members affected by breast cancer, Kyle and Samantha knew they wanted to go further than the typical special paint scheme. The pair flew out to California to give a detailed presentation to sponor Monster Enegery to paint the car pink, then partnered with Pretty In Pink to host a charity dinner and bring survivors to the track.
Kyle and Samantha hosted eight local women survivors, one male survivor and three women currently going through chemotherapy.
"Samantha and I feel like we're in the position to give back to the community," Busch said. "There are times when we want to take a bigger initiative and a bigger step."
In total, the Busch family, along with Joe Gibbs Racing, donated $154,000 to the Pretty In Pink Foundation.
Thank you @SamanthaBusch for everything you do for breast cancer awareness. As a survivor it is awesome what you are doing. Thank you Janet
